(Bandar Seri Begawan, 30th) Recently, Chung Hwa School Kg. Tiong dispatched science teacher Ai Yin to attend a special workshop organized by Universiti Brunei Darussalam—“Inclusive Education in Action: A Practical Classroom Guide.”

The school has always adhered to the original intention of “Education as the foundation, students at the center,” firmly believing that every child should be seen, be illuminated, and have infinite possibilities for growth.

This course was led by expert instructors from Singapore's Rainbow Centre. During three days of immersive learning, Teacher Ai Yin mastered a variety of practical teaching skills, including understanding the reasons behind student behaviors, coping with challenging behaviors, and using “arousal strategies” to help students enter a learning state.

In addition, another highlight of the workshop was designing engaging teaching methods for students with learning difficulties, as well as overcoming challenges and difficulties encountered in actual teaching.

Teacher Ai Yin stated that this was not just a training session, but an awakening of educational action. She learned a wealth of teaching strategies, bringing new inspiration and energy for the school to promote personalized and inclusive education.

Principal Tao Meihua emphasized that the road of education is broadened by inclusion and changed through action. In the future, the school will continue to uphold its educational mission, creating an inclusive and warm learning environment, so that every student can be respected, supported, and illuminated.
