During his visit to China, Thai Prime Minister Anutin once again showcased "music diplomacy." On Monday in Beijing, he held talks with Chinese Premier Li Qiang and attended a luncheon hosted by Li Qiang, during which he performed the classic Mandarin song "Sweet Honey".
At the luncheon, Anutin sat side by side with Li Qiang on one side of a long table, holding a microphone and singing Teresa Teng's "Sweet Honey" to piano accompaniment.
Li Qiang and other guests listened to Anutin's performance, clapping along to the rhythm.
From Thursday to Monday, Anutin visited China. After attending the World Artificial Intelligence Conference and the High-level Meeting on Global AI Governance in Shanghai, he continued his visit to Sichuan and Beijing. Last Friday, Anutin met with Chinese President Xi Jinping at the Xijiao State Guest Hotel in Shanghai.
On Monday, Anutin led a delegation to visit the Alibaba Group's Beijing headquarters, hoping to expand cooperation in areas such as artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and logistics.
He also emphasized Thailand's potential and readiness as a regional business hub, noting that the Thai government attaches great importance to attracting investment into future industries, including AI, cloud computing, and logistics systems, which aligns with Alibaba's business direction.
He hopes to achieve concrete cooperation through Alibaba's digital platforms to help promote Thai tourism, attract tourists from China and around the world, as well as enhance the digital skills of Thai individuals and enterprises, jointly advancing the digital economy and making Thailand a strategic gateway to ASEAN.
