(Bandar Seri Begawan, 23rd) In conjunction with His Majesty the Sultan of Brunei's 80th birthday, Tutong District will hold a fireworks display on the night of August 1st (Saturday) in the sky above the Tutong District Community Hall, presenting the public with about 20 minutes of spectacular fireworks to enhance the festive atmosphere of the birthday celebration.
This fireworks show is sponsored by Wah Hup Department Store and enthusiastic individuals, including Members of Parliament Liu Xiaode, Zhuang Xishan, Lin Zhennan, Zeng Yongnan, Lin Rirui, Shen Xianguo, Dato Zhang Yongping, Xu Daoxin, Su Jingyu, Liu Jiahong, Zhu Zhihao, Hou Jinbao, Huang Nenglou, Qiu Yongchang, Liu Shunlai, Chen Tuliang, and Dato Huang Zhiyin.
The 2026 Tutong Fireworks Display Working Committee, chaired by Qiu Yongchang, is currently carrying out all preparations in full swing with the active cooperation of all committee members and the strong support of sponsors to ensure the smooth holding of the fireworks display.
The Working Committee stated that the dazzling and colorful fireworks will bloom in the Tutong night sky, not only adding a strong festive mood to His Majesty the Sultan's 80th birthday, but also offering a visual feast to the public as everyone celebrates this national event together.
