(Brunei, 4th) To celebrate the 15th day of the eighth lunar month of the Year of the Snake, Teng Yun Temple will solemnly hold the grand birthday celebration this month for the Enlightened City God, Welfare Deity and Fude Zhengshen (Earth God), praying for national peace, favorable weather, and safety for all.
The celebration events are jointly organized by the chairman, all board members, members, advisors, patron hosts, ritual masters, and local devotees, sincerely inviting devotees from all walks of life to actively participate in this grand event.
The program is as follows: On October 5, 2025 (Sunday, lunar August 14), at 11:00 pm (the Zi hour), there will be an invitation for the deities to descend, with the board members and devotees respectfully welcoming the Jade Emperor, Three Officials, and Five Emperors, celebrating the birthdays of the City God and Earth God; on October 6, 2025 (Monday, lunar August 15), at 5:00 pm (the You hour), a ceremony will be held to reward the Five Camps’ Generals and to offer charity to wandering spirits (Old Master) and unseen beings; at 7:00 pm (the Xu hour), deities will be respectfully sent off with the board members and devotees, perfectly concluding the celebrations.
