Korea's YG Entertainment, the mastermind behind the creation of two world-class idol groups—BIGBANG and BLACKPINK—saw its president, Yang Hyun Suk, make a blockbuster announcement yesterday (the 4th) in a video on the company’s official website while unveiling YG's annual plan: BIGBANG will continue to collaborate with YG Entertainment, and their 20th anniversary global tour is about to launch.
Previously, GD had mentioned both at the MMA and during fan meetings that 'the 20th anniversary will definitely not disappoint fans.' Although Taeyang and Daesung have left YG Entertainment, YG’s boss Yang Hyun Suk remains confident, assuring fans that the members’ chemistry is beyond doubt and the entire YG staff will spare no effort to produce a perfectly spectacular concert worthy of BIGBANG’s reputation. He even, full of a sense of accomplishment, shared his heartfelt thoughts with fans, acknowledging that BIGBANG is the most successful boy group he has ever created. This is also the first time in six months that he has shared company plans and personal updates with 'YG friends' through a video.
