The Iranian Revolutionary Guard released a statement on the 21st, saying that two oil tankers attempting to pass through the dangerous southern route in the Strait of Hormuz exploded and caught fire that day.
The statement said that the two oil tankers were forced to halt due to the explosion and fire, and rescue personnel are assisting the crew with evacuation. At the same time, the Navy of the Revolutionary Guard warned shipping companies not to trust false information from the US military and advised passing vessels to avoid dangerous routes.
The statement pointed out that as long as US military aggression in the region continues, the Strait of Hormuz will remain closed. Regardless of whether it is oil, natural gas, or fertilizer, they will not be exported from this region.
