In her statement, she warned, “If Harvard University cannot verify whether they fully comply with reporting requirements, the university will lose its eligibility to enroll foreign students.”

Additionally, Noem also announced the termination of two grants to Harvard University totaling over $2.7 million.

The White House immediately announced the freeze of $2.2 billion in federal funding provided to Harvard University over several years, as well as freezing government contracts worth a total of $60 million.
Trump also posted a threat, indicating that if Harvard continues to promote those politicized, ideological, or even terrorism-inspired or supported “sick” behaviors, perhaps the school's tax-exempt status should be revoked, and it be taxed as a political entity.
