SPM A+ History Subject Workshop Benefits 400 Miri Candidates

(Miri, 12th) The office of the Miri Member of Parliament and the Lin Family Higher Education Fund successfully organized the SPM A+ History Subject Workshop on May 9th, benefiting 400 candidates from various schools!

The organizing committee chairman, Lin Si Jian, said at the opening ceremony last Saturday that this educational event has been held for three consecutive years, and an upcoming Moral Subject workshop will be hosted in July to help candidates better master exam techniques.

“Our purpose is simple, we want the children to master exam skills and knowledge, to strengthen their capabilities. Therefore, we are willing to invest heavily in inviting experienced and renowned teachers to teach, all for the sake of the children's future.”

This workshop was taught by Ms. Yasmin, a history subject lecturer with over 30 years of teaching experience, who traveled all the way from Kelantan. This is a rare opportunity and a blessing for the students of Miri.

Lin Si Jian also mentioned that the history workshop was divided into morning and afternoon sessions, with 200 students benefiting from each session, thus a total of 400 students were reached.

Additionally, Lin Si Jian did not forget to thank the co-organizer, L & P Further Studies Guidance Centre, for their active cooperation over the years, and also the venue sponsor school, Pei Min Middle School, for offering a venue discount.

“I also want to express my gratitude to Miri MP Chiew Choon Man for his cooperation and support over the years, which made the preparations much more efficient.”

As the Lin Family Higher Education Fund Manager, Lin Si Jian called on students who were fortunate to be recommended by their schools to participate in the workshop to share what they have learned with classmates who were unable to attend, demonstrating a high level of mutual assistance and selflessness.

“Because of venue and time constraints, we cannot accommodate every candidate, so the schools decided the list of students attending the workshop. Therefore, we hope everyone can display a high level of mutual help by sharing what they learned with other students.”

Lin Si Jian hopes that candidates will seize this learning opportunity and strive to achieve excellent results in order to have a choice to further their studies, gain more knowledge, put it into practice, and contribute positively to the nation and society in the future.
