(Brunei, 18th) The Brunei Kong Hui Association held an outdoor cleaning campaign this morning at the Bukit Shahbandar Forest Recreation Park in Jerudong, attracting enthusiastic participation from directors, leisure committee members, members, and their families, creating a lively atmosphere.
This event was organized by the association to implement the concept of 'Everyone is responsible for a clean environment.' The outdoor cleaning campaign is one of the annual activities of the Kong Hui Association, but it was suspended during the COVID-19 pandemic and in 2024 due to specific reasons. Starting this year, the association has decided to resume organizing this activity and plans to hold it at least once a year. This activity has always been well-supported by the council, leisure committee members, and the general members, with numerous participants and a warm response.
Participants not only exercise by walking but also actively pick up litter along the way, contributing to environmental hygiene while strengthening their bodies, achieving dual benefits.
