(Seria, 18th) Senior students of Chung Cheng High School Seria, recently invited to participate in the 'Taiwan Higher Education Fair' organized by the Brunei Alumni Association of Taiwan, held at Kuala Belait Chung Hwa Middle School, with lectures personally delivered by lecturers from renowned universities in Taiwan. This event provided a valuable platform for students to gain an in-depth understanding of the diverse development and educational opportunities in Taiwan's higher education.
The lecturers participating in the presentations included Ms. Yang Yu-Chieh from National Chi Nan University, Mr. Chen Yi-Kai from Chinese Culture University, Mr. Wu Fei-Fan from Hungkuang University, and Ms. Wen Shu-Ying, the Deputy International Director of Nankai University of Technology. They provided detailed introductions to their respective universities' educational features, academic resources, enrollment channels, and study abroad life. The content was engaging and captivating.
During the lecture, the students listened attentively, interacted actively, and expressed that they gained a deeper understanding of Taiwanese university systems, curriculum arrangements, and learning environment, helping them to establish clearer goals and plans for their future education directions.
This event also had the honor to invite several distinguished guests for guidance, including the President of the Sarawak Alumni Association of Taiwan, Mr. Siaw Teh Chai, the Head of the Malaysia-Singapore Education Section, Ms. Cheah Jia Lim, the President of the Brunei Alumni Association of Taiwan, Mr. Loo Wan Yi, and senior education consultant, Mr. Chong Cheong Hwa, highlighting the care and support from the Taiwan alumni education community for local student development.
