(Belait, 17th) The Brunei Royal Police Force Belait District Branch organized a 9-a-side football tournament at the district police headquarters on the 13th of this month (Saturday), attracting a total of ten teams from several police stations as well as one invited external team.
The event's closing ceremony and award presentation were officiated by Deputy Director of the Police Headquarters Operations Department, Haji Hamri. The participating teams included Belait District Headquarters, Sungai Liang Police Station, Labi Police Station, Seria Police Station, Panaga Police Station, RU’A, OPSO, Kuala Balai Police Station, the Police Officers' Team, and an invited team from the district office.
After intense competition, the district office representative team emerged as the champion; the runner-up position was taken by the Belait District Headquarters team, while Panaga Police Station claimed third place.
This tournament aims to foster camaraderie and unity among members of the Royal Brunei Police Force, cultivate a healthy sporting spirit, and enhance internal cooperation and teamwork.
