KUCHING,17 July: The Sarawak United Peoples’ Party (SUPP) 10th Mile Sub-Branch here welcomed over 100 new members, with more than 50 attending a vibrant membership card presentation ceremony held at the branch on Wednesday.
The event was officiated by Batu Kitang Assemblyman and SUPP leader, Datuk Lo Khere Chiang, who personally presented membership cards to the new members and warmly welcomed them into the SUPP family.
In his speech, Lo expressed that the strong support from the public is the driving force behind the party’s continuous growth.
He thanked the new members for their trust and encouraged them to actively participate in community affairs and party-building, contributing towards the development of the Batu Kitang constituency.
“The growth of our party depends on the active participation and selfless dedication of grassroots members. We welcome you to join us in listening to the people, solving their issues, and building a better community together,” he said.
He emphasised that this event not only marked the new members’ official entry into SUPP, but also demonstrated the party’s strong grassroots support and cohesion, further solidifying its foundation in Batu Kitang.
