(Bandar Seri Begawan, 27th) In conjunction with the 80th birthday of His Majesty the Sultan of Brunei, the relevant celebration subcommittee convened a meeting yesterday afternoon to discuss preparations for the festivities and related activities.
The meeting was scheduled for 2:30 pm yesterday afternoon, held at the Purple Jade Hall on the 6th floor of Garden Sentosa Hotel in Gadong, inviting all committee members to attend. Representatives from Brunei-Muara District were also in attendance.
The meeting centered on the theme of “Celebrating His Majesty the Sultan of Brunei’s 80th Birthday Festivities” and discussed a range of preparatory matters, including procurement of items for the celebration, distribution of small national flags, and fireworks display arrangements.
All committee members participated enthusiastically, jointly supporting and assisting in organizing the relevant festivities to ensure the smooth execution of the event. At present, people from all walks of life across Brunei are actively preparing for a series of Sultan’s birthday celebration activities in anticipation of the upcoming national festivities.
Attending members included Pengiran Mansor, Lim Han Chong, Lim Bo Ming, Dato Seri Lim Chang Ching, Lim Teng Cai, Lim Teng Yuan, Dr. Zeng Ruiji, Qiu Fook Kim, Sun De An, Ku Kong Lai, Chen Li Zhen, Lim Yuan Tai, Cheng Yong Nian, Han Huang Guang, Huang Guan Li, Lin Xi Rui, Huang Guo Qiang, and other members.
