(USA, 14th) — A convenience store in Sarasota County, Florida, recently had an uninvited guest: a 3-meter-long crocodile was wandering inside the store and was eventually captured by police. Fortunately, no casualties were reported.
The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office shared a video on social media showing officers looping a rope around the crocodile’s neck, while the reptile swung side to side in an attempt to break free. With the joint efforts of multiple people, the crocodile was finally dragged onto a truck and removed from the scene.
The police posted that the crocodile is about 3.12 meters long and appeared in a convenience store on North River Road. This is also the second crocodile sighting in Sarasota County in two weeks.
