Brunei Sabre Travel Network Co. and Malaysia Tourism Promotion Board Co-host Hari Raya Celebration

(Bandar Seri Begawan, 17th) The Hari Raya open house celebration event, jointly organized by Brunei Sabre Travel Network Co. and the Malaysia Tourism Promotion Board, was held yesterday at the banquet hall of Hotel J in Kiulap.

More than 230 guests attended the event, including diplomats, airline representatives, national tourism boards, travel agencies, banks, business partners, and industry leaders from the media. Notable attendees included Dato Mohamad Ainie Atan, the Malaysian High Commissioner, Her Excellency Boosara Kanchanalai, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Thailand to China, His Excellency Tran Anh Vu, the Vietnamese Ambassador, Sabirin Hj Abdul Hamid, CEO of Royal Brunei Airlines and Chairman of Brunei Sabre Travel Network Co., along with other key stakeholders and leaders from various sectors.

Brunei Sabre Travel Network Co. General Manager, Harlin, stated: “On behalf of the company, we are honored to collaborate with the Malaysia Tourism Promotion Board to host this Hari Raya open house event. It is wonderful to see everyone come together to celebrate this joyous occasion and express our gratitude.”

Malaysia Tourism Board Director, Haziyah, added: “This joint Hari Raya gathering not only allows the Malaysia Tourism Board to strengthen our relationships with local tourism partners, business partners, and media representatives but also gives us the opportunity to express our gratitude for everyone's support. Additionally, this event provides a platform to promote Visit Malaysia Year 2026. In 2024, the number of tourists from Brunei to Malaysia increased by 55.2% compared to 2023, making Brunei the fifth-largest source country for tourists to Malaysia.”
