He said: "We will launch a fierce strike on them tonight or tomorrow night, and by next week, the situation will become very bad for them, because next week's targets will be their bridges and power plants. Unless they sit down to negotiate, we will destroy all their bridges and power plants."
He pointed out that U.S. negotiators held talks with Iranian officials on the 14th, informing the other side that an agreement should be reached, otherwise "you will cease to exist."
Trump said that U.S. military strikes on Iran would continue "until I say enough."
He stated that Iran's strength has been severely weakened but still retains the ability to fight back. Iran is like a great boxer, "You think you've defeated him, but then he suddenly counters and lands you a heavy punch."
Trump said he did not rule out the possibility of sending ground troops to Iran. However, he did not elaborate further on this.
Multiple Iranian Civilian Facilities Damaged in Attacks
According to Iranian media reports, from the 14th to the early morning of the 15th, a mineral water plant, a power facility on Kish Island, and an environmental protection station—among other civilian facilities—were damaged by U.S. military attacks, resulting in at least 3 deaths.
The reports say that in the early morning of the 15th, a mineral water plant in the western Ilam Province was hit by three projectiles launched by the U.S. military, damaging factory equipment. There are no reports of casualties yet.
Kish Island Hydropower Engineering Company also issued a statement on the 14th indicating that explosions created by the U.S. near a power facility on Kish Island caused changes to technical parameters of some generator units. Technical personnel are assessing the damage, and temporary power outages may be implemented locally.
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Baghaei posted late at night on the 14th on social media condemning the U.S. military attack that day on an environmental protection station in the northern part of Hormozgan Province in southern Iran, resulting in the death of three family members of a forest ranger.
