Three Oil Tankers Attacked Near Oman, 3 Missing and 6 Injured

The Oman Maritime Security Center said on the 14th that three oil tankers were attacked at multiple locations near Oman's waters that day, resulting in 3 crew members missing and 6 injured.

According to a statement issued by the center, all three oil tankers were registered under the flag of Liberia. One tanker was attacked off the coast of Musandam Province, Oman, with 18 crew members having been transferred by nearby vessels while 3 remain missing and search and rescue efforts are ongoing. Another tanker was attacked about 8.5 nautical miles from the Musandam Province coast, with the vessel losing power and 6 crew members injured. Omani military vessels are monitoring the situation on-site. A third tanker was attacked in waters near Oman's Ash Sharqiyah Province; the vessel's engine room caught fire, but no casualties were reported.

Meanwhile, the Omani Foreign Ministry issued a statement calling for respect for international law and ensuring the safe passage of commercial vessels through the Strait of Hormuz.

US attacks will lead to the region not exporting 'a drop of oil.'

The Iranian Revolutionary Guard issued a statement on the 15th, saying that as long as the US continues attacks on Iran, the region will not export 'a drop of oil' or natural gas.
