(Bandar Seri Begawan, 13th) Baiduri Bank recently held its annual “Media Appreciation Night” at the J Hotel Banquet Hall, creating a “Colour Riot” night themed around vibrant colours to joyfully celebrate creativity, collaboration, and community spirit. The event attracted nearly a hundred representatives from Brunei’s media and creative sectors, including national media agencies, radio reporters, editors, photographers, videographers, DJs, and content creators, along with well-known local digital creatives. Members of Baiduri Bank’s Management Committee were also present to join in the festivities.
In his speech, Baiduri Bank CEO Ti Eng Hui expressed sincere gratitude to the media and acknowledged their crucial role in disseminating truthful information and telling important stories. He remarked, “Your commitment to balanced and responsible reporting is especially vital in today’s world. Together, we work to enhance public awareness of scams and financial literacy, building a safer and more knowledgeable society.”
In 2025, Baiduri Bank won multiple international awards, including The Banker’s “Bank of the Year”, Euromoney’s “Brunei’s Best Digital Bank”, FinanceAsia’s “Best Bank in Brunei”, World Finance’s “Best Banking Group in Brunei”, The Asian Banker’s “Best Retail Bank in Brunei”, and Asian Banking & Finance’s “Brunei Local Retail Bank of the Year”, and was also named “Best Managed Bank in Brunei” by TAB Global.
In terms of financial ratings, S&P Global Ratings maintained Baiduri Bank’s “A-/A-2” stable rating in July 2025, further affirming the bank’s sound financial performance and prudent risk management.
