35-year-old Chinese heartthrob Tan Jianci was previously exposed by his 19-year-old ex Liu Yinuo, who revealed details of their past relationship. The public was once concerned that his career might plummet as a result, and there were even rumors that the historical political drama "He Bu Tong Zhou Du," which he was about to join, had decided to recast his role. However, Tan Jianci, along with the cast and crew of "He", held the launch ceremony at Hengdian’s Qin Palace on the 25th, putting the rumors to rest. In high spirits throughout the event, he actively approached the crowd of fans for group photos, and even took the opportunity to perform and promote his new song "PROOF".
The launch ceremony saw an enormous show of support from fans, with thousands turning out. Tan Jianci's fans had elaborately prepared multiple forms of support, including arranging 3,200 drones to form silhouettes of his character and the drama’s title illuminated in the night sky, creating an 80-meter themed flower wall and a sea of banners, displaying enormous posters on city walls throughout the scenic area, and organizing traditional intangible cultural heritage ironflower performances. Large numbers of fans traveled specifically to Hengdian for the occasion, resulting in a total sell-out of over a thousand nearby hotels!
Moved by this massive fan support, Tan Jianci was overwhelmed with emotion and shed tears on site, describing this as "the largest launch ceremony I've ever attended." In the drama, he plays a double-agent general. During his speech, he choked up as he recalled arriving in Hengdian alone to chase his dream ten years ago, starting out as an extra. Comparing those early days to today’s grand scene, he remarked emotionally, "I truly never imagined even in my dreams that I would see this day."
