North Korea: Will Formulate Clearer Military Options Based on Japan's Moves

The Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reported on the 5th that Kim Yo-jong, Minister of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, made a statement on the same day, pointing out that the armed forces and military leadership organs of North Korea will formulate clearer military options based on Japan’s current military moves.

Kim Yo-jong said that Japan recently test-fired the U.S.-made "Tomahawk" cruise missile; in May, it carried out the first overseas offensive missile launch since World War II in the Philippines; in March, "Type 25 Surface-to-Ship Missiles" and "Type 25 High-Speed Glide Bombs" were deployed in Kumamoto and Shizuoka Prefectures respectively, marking the beginning of acquiring preemptive strike capabilities. Japan is also planning to develop and introduce unmanned submarines with anti-ship strike capabilities in the near future.

Kim Yo-jong emphasized that Japan possesses various long-range strike means and has shifted its entire military deployment posture to a "preemptive strike and overseas invasion force".

Kim Yo-jong stated that Japan denies and beautifies its history of aggression, gradually creating political, military, and legal stepping stones for renewed invasion. Once Japan has preemptive strike capabilities, humanity is likely to suffer another tragic disaster.

Kim Yo-jong pointed out that Japan is taking advantage of global geopolitical conflicts and bloc confrontations to accelerate its transformation into a "warfare state." The international community should remain vigilant and must never allow Japan to become a military power.
