Reuters and Ipsos released a poll on the 3rd showing that U.S. President Trump's approval rating has dropped to 35%.
According to this poll, Trump's approval rating fell from 37% last month to 35%, only 1 percentage point higher than the lowest level during his term.
Among registered voters who participated in this poll, about 37% believe that the Democratic Party is better at managing the economy, while 36% chose the Republican Party. This is the first time in nearly 10 years that the Democrats have overtaken the Republicans in this metric.
In addition, the poll showed that if Congressional elections were held now, 42% of registered voters would vote for the Democrats, while 37% would vote for the Republicans.
According to Reuters, the results of this poll indicate that Trump's handling of issues such as the rise in energy prices resulting from the conflict with Iran may affect the Republican Party's prospects in the November U.S. midterm elections.
This survey was conducted nationwide online from July 29 to August 3, collecting feedback from 4,505 American adults.
