(Bandar Seri Begawan, 11th) In order to strengthen connections with local communities, the Royal Brunei Navy is holding a two-day 'Navy Seria Roadshow' event in the Belait District. The event kicked off yesterday and continues today at the MPABD (Maritime and Port Authority of Brunei Darussalam) Jetty and the Seria Municipal Hall.
The purpose of this roadshow is to enhance public understanding of the Royal Navy’s duties and mission, while also strengthening interaction between the navy and the community, reflecting the navy’s commitment to building closer relations with the people.
During the roadshow, the public is invited to board naval vessels for tours and view a series of exhibitions covering the navy’s operational capabilities, maritime security responsibilities, and career development pathways. This includes open ship tours at the MPABD Jetty and various community-oriented activities at the Seria Municipal Hall.
The event features a rich and diverse program, including live band performances, exhibitions, and interactive sessions arranged by Royal Navy personnel, aiming to engage visitors of all ages.
The roadshow continues today at the MPABD Jetty and Municipal Hall, from 9 AM to 4:30 PM.
