Groundbreaking Ceremony for the Tunku Hill Crematorium

(Bandar Seri Begawan, 27th) The Brunei Chinese Charitable Association held a solemn groundbreaking and memorial ceremony today at the Tunku Hill Chinese Cemetery, marking the official launch of the Tunku Hill Crematorium construction project. The ceremony was jointly presided over by President Sun Shengli, Vice President Lu Shunnian, and council members, with many members and community representatives gathered together to witness this historic moment. 
The ceremony was held at the Tunku Hill Cemetery, which will become the site for the new crematorium. The atmosphere at the scene was solemn and dignified; following the groundbreaking, it symbolized the official commencement of the new project. 
According to plan, the construction of the Tunku Hill Crematorium will provide a more complete and convenient service facility for the Brunei Chinese community to meet increasingly growing needs. This project will not only offer professional cremation services to local residents but will also bring lasting contributions and significance to the entire community. 
At the ceremony, President Sun Shengli stated: “The start of this project signifies the Brunei Chinese community’s deep concern for traditional culture and charitable causes. We will continue working hard to contribute to the construction and development of our community.”
Vice President Lu Shunnian also emphasized in his speech that the construction of the crematorium is the common wish of the Brunei Chinese society, and the smooth implementation of the project will lay a solid foundation for future charitable endeavours. 
The entire ceremony concluded successfully in a solemn atmosphere, marking the official opening of a new chapter in the construction of the Tunku Hill Crematorium.
