(City News, 26th) Qingdao University recently organized a cultural study tour, leading an international delegation—including representatives from Brunei's Chung Hwa School—to deeply explore Qingzhou, a cultural ancient city with a history of over 2,200 years, and personally experience the profound heritage of Chinese history.
The first stop of the trip was China's renowned Qingzhou Museum. The museum, a national first-class county-level museum, holds a collection of over 50,000 cultural relics, including multiple national first-class artifacts such as the "Lu State Scroll", the "Jigong Chuan Jade", and Buddha sculptures from Longxing Temple. Immersed in modern exhibitions, the delegation members gained a deeper understanding of ancient Chinese art, religion, and political culture.
The delegation then visited Qingzhou Ancient City, strolling along streets paved with bluestone, admiring well-preserved Ming and Qing dynasty buildings along the way, and feeling the antique ambiance of the city. A thousand-year-old ancient tree in the city center, regarded as a symbol of cultural inheritance, also left a deep impression on everyone.
This cultural study tour is part of the international exchange and Chinese language education and training organized by Qingdao University. In addition to cultural visits, the delegates also participated in specialized courses including the analysis of Chinese character structure and the application of smart technology in Chinese teaching.
Brunei Chung Hwa School Chairman Lui Shiyun and Academic Affairs Director Zheng Shijuan led the delegation for this exchange. Along with 70 delegates from multiple countries, they not only broadened their professional perspectives but also deepened their understanding of Chinese culture and modern technological development.
