(Bandar Seri Begawan, 1st) The Malaysian Labuan Kwong Wai Siew Association delegation, consisting of five members led by President Zeng Baocun, arrived in Brunei this morning to begin a two-day goodwill visit. Their first stop was a visit to the Bandar Seri Begawan Kwong Wai Mutual Aid Society, where they received a warm welcome.

The Chairman of the Bandar Seri Begawan Kwong Wai Mutual Aid Society, Ye Tianfu, Vice Chairman Huang Jiasheng, Deputy Chairman Liu Zhihong, together with board members and recreation committee executives, hosted a banquet at the society and held a welcoming ceremony in the meeting room.

During the welcoming ceremony, both chairmen, Ye Tianfu and Zeng Baocun, delivered speeches highlighting the historical ties and close relationship between the two regional associations, and conducted deep exchanges and experience sharing on association management, event planning, and member services.

Zeng Baocun pointed out that one of the main purposes of this visit to Brunei is to personally deliver invitations, sincerely inviting Guangzhou and Guangdong clansmen in Brunei to organize a delegation to Labuan to participate in the "Labuan Kwong Wai Siew Association 173rd Anniversary and Mid-Autumn Gala," which will be held from September 20 to 21.

The Brunei Kwong Wai clan representatives also gained deeper understanding and insight into the society’s history, development, and operational management through watching the "Introduction to Bandar Seri Begawan Kwong Wai Mutual Aid Society" short film.

At the ceremony, Chairman Ye Tianfu officially received the invitation, which was personally handed over by President Zeng Baocun, on behalf of the Bandar Seri Begawan Kwong Wai Mutual Aid Society. The Kuala Belait Brunei Kwong Wai Siew Association is also among the invited organizations.

After completing their visit in Bandar Seri Begawan, the Labuan delegation proceeded to Kuala Belait for the second phase of their visit, during which Bandar Seri Begawan Kwong Wai Mutual Aid Society Honorary Advisor Gu Ganglai and clansman Huang Ziling voluntarily served as drivers and guides, demonstrating the deep bonds and warm hospitality of the Brunei Kwong Wai Siew community.
