(Bandar Seri Begawan, 28th) The Royal Brunei Police Force Cyber Crime Investigation Unit (BSJS) was invited to hold a briefing titled 'Cyber Fraud' at the Lambak Kanan Fire and Rescue Training Centre.
A total of 29 participants attended the briefing, including 12 trainees and 17 staff members from the Lambak Kanan Fire Training Centre and Fire Station.
The briefing was given by Chief Inspector Adinin, who emphasized the threat of cyber fraud and the measures that should be taken upon receiving any suspicious information, including immediately calling the cyber fraud reporting hotline 16993 to report such incidents.
Through this briefing, it is hoped that the participants can better understand and be alert to the increasingly rampant methods of cyber fraud.
