Both parties will adhere to a path of Asian development featuring mutual benefit, openness, and cooperation, following the principles of the United Nations "Future Contract" and the Bright Malaysia Initiative, contributing to Asia's stability and progress.
At the same time, the two countries will strengthen coordination and cooperation under multilateral frameworks such as the United Nations, the World Trade Organization (WTO), and the World Health Organization (WHO), jointly defending international fairness and justice, protecting the common interests of developing countries, and promoting shared human values of peace, development, fairness, justice, democracy, and freedom.
"China welcomes Malaysia becoming a BRICS partner and is willing to actively support Malaysia in better integrating into BRICS cooperation."
