【Southern Thailand Floods】Trapped Victims Left With No Way to Seek Help, Can Only Shout When Seeing Helicopters

One of the victims trapped in the southern Thailand floods, Baharin, the General Manager of Cuti-Cuti Langkawi Sdn Bhd, revealed in a WhatsApp media group that the second wave of flooding in Hat Yai is even more severe. The shop on the ground floor has been submerged, and some trapped Thai citizens, upon seeing a helicopter fly overhead, could only shout upwards for help.

He said that as the second wave of floods strikes, there are still no signs of rescue efforts from the Thai government. Even the stranded Thai citizens are now left with no water or electricity, and when they see helicopters flying overhead, all they can do is shout at the sky for help.

He also said that some Malaysian citizens still trapped in the hotel are working together with hotel staff to cook food for those stranded on the hotel's rooftop.
