(Bandar Seri Begawan, 25th) The Malaysian Expatriate Association in Brunei recently held a “Congratulations Raya Double Festival Celebration.” In his speech, President Azlan stated that the event embodied the diversity and unity of the Malaysian people, and that even while living abroad, they remain closely connected.
He emphasized that the celebration is not just about marking the festive occasion, but also serves as an important moment for reunion, understanding, and appreciating the beauty of a diverse cultural heritage.
Azlan also took the opportunity to sincerely thank all the advisors who attended that evening, pointing out that their continuous support and valuable contributions were the key to the event’s success, for which he is deeply grateful.
He said that the dinner specially prepared dishes blending Chinese and Malay flavors, hoping that guests would fully enjoy the sumptuous food as they share in the joy of Hari Raya and Lunar New Year.
