Pei Chung Alumni Association General Meeting Concludes Successfully; Outgoing Chairperson Encourages New Team

(Miri, 15th) The Pei Chung Alumni Association held its general meeting today, during which a new board of directors was elected. Lin Xinlei was elected as the 17th Chairperson.

In her speech at the meeting, outgoing Chairperson Huang Jin Feng reflected that serving as chairperson of the alumni association and working closely with a team of passionate directors for the benefit of the alma mater and fellow alumni was a valuable and unforgettable experience.

She pointed out that the achievements of the alumni association in the past were made possible thanks to the concerted efforts of the board as well as the encouragement and support of the wider alumni body. Over the years, directors and alumni have worked hand-in-hand to advance the association's development, strengthen alumni bonds, and carry on the spirit of the alma mater, continually moving the association forward.

She stated that every alumni event and gathering not only deepened the connections between members, but also bore witness to the strong friendships among them, reinforcing their resolve to contribute to the alma mater and society.

With the new term of the board about to begin, she said that although she is stepping down as chairperson, the bonds between alumni will not end and her heart for serving the alma mater will not withdraw from the stage. In the future, she will continue to support the association's development as an advisor and walk alongside fellow alumni.

She also wished that the new team of directors would remain united and cooperative at this new starting point, continue to promote the spirit of the alma mater, build on the foundation laid by their predecessors, and lead the alumni association to new milestones.

The meeting proceeded smoothly in a harmonious atmosphere, with attendees also exchanging Lunar New Year greetings, looking forward to lasting alumni friendships and jointly promoting the association's continued growth.
