Oil Price Breaks $100! Trump: Just a Small Price to Pay

International oil prices have once again surged past $100 per barrel.

Due to the ongoing military conflict between the United States, Israel, and Iran, international crude oil futures started this week with a strong rise. This is the first time since mid-2022 that oil prices have climbed back above this threshold.

Former U.S. President Trump stated on social media that, for the "safety and peace of the U.S. and the world," such an increase in oil prices is merely a "very small price to pay."

With rising oil prices, what people care about most is, of course, prices at the pump.

In response, Malaysian Prime Minister Dato' Seri Anwar stated that the government will do its utmost to ensure that citizens can continue to enjoy the RON95 gasoline price of RM1.99 per liter.

International oil prices break $100, but local fuel prices—for now—remain unchanged.

However, how global events will develop next and whether oil prices will continue to fluctuate remains full of uncertainty.
