According to AFP, this year's parade is the largest in recent years.

The parade was overseen by French President Macron, who is commander-in-chief of the armed forces. About 30 heads of state and government leaders were invited to the event, including Ukrainian President Zelensky, British Prime Minister Starmer, German Chancellor Merz, and others.
