The Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) division elections frequently see unexpected results, with Pahang State Chairman Reezal Jaamin and State Executive Councillor Sim Choon Siang defeated in this party election.

According to the election results announced by the PKR Election Committee, Reezal Jaamin received 421 votes in the election for the Lipis division chairman position, losing to his opponent Mohamad Hasin Mansor, who received 516 votes.

Reezal Jaamin was also one of the five Pahang state-appointed state assemblymen who took office on September 5 last year.

In addition, Pahang State Executive Councillor Sim Choon Siang also lost in the Kuantan division chairman election. This position had two contenders, with Sim Choon Siang obtaining only 575 votes, losing to Fakhrul, who secured 659 votes.

On the other hand, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar's political secretary, Datuk Ahmad Fahan, was automatically elected as the Indera Mahkota division chairman due to a lack of challengers.

In Pahang, Bera, Member of Parliament Perma Norlan successfully defended his position as division chairman, receiving 225 votes, defeating Mohamad Gidi Yago, who received 186 votes.
