(Bandar Seri Begawan, 4th) – The Government of His Majesty the Sultan of Brunei and the Government of Singapore held a signing ceremony for a Memorandum of Understanding on Bilateral Cooperation for a Sustainable and Liveable Built Environment.
Dato Juanda, Minister of Development, signed the memorandum on behalf of the Brunei government, while Desmond Lee, Minister for National Development, signed on behalf of the Singapore government.
In his welcome speech, Minister Juanda stated that this memorandum of understanding is regarded as a valuable and practical cooperation platform that will facilitate knowledge sharing and promote cooperation and learning in various fields such as green building, productivity and construction quality, facilities management, urban planning and development, technological innovation, as well as universal design and accessibility.
