(Bandar Seri Begawan, 27th) The Brunei Immigration and National Registration Department has announced that, to accommodate border crossing needs, several immigration checkpoints will temporarily extend their operating hours to midnight from the 26th to June 2nd (Tuesday).
The checkpoints with extended hours include the Kuala Lurah Checkpoint, Labu Checkpoint in Temburong, Ujung Jalan Checkpoint in Temburong, and the Sungai Tujoh Checkpoint.
The authorities stated that these checkpoints will open from 6 a.m. and remain open until midnight, making it more convenient for the public and cross-border vehicles to pass.
The Immigration Department also mentioned that on June 3rd (Wednesday), all relevant checkpoints will resume their original operating hours, which are from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.
The authorities urge the public to plan their travel in advance and comply with border crossing regulations to ensure a smooth entry and exit process.
