US President Trump stated on the 13th that military actions against Iran will continue as long as necessary.
He made the remarks while responding to reporters’ questions before flying from Andrews Joint Base in Maryland to Mar-a-Lago in Florida.
When asked how long US military action against Iran might continue, he said: "I can't tell you, I have my own considerations, military actions are progressing far ahead of plan, and they will continue as long as necessary."
Regarding questions about when the US Navy will begin escorting oil tankers through the Strait of Hormuz, Trump pointed out, "It will happen very soon, very soon."
However, he did not give further details about the specific timing of the US military escorts.
