At the event, Anutin sent New Year greetings for the Year of the Horse in Chinese: "Wishing you instant success, wealth and prosperity, and good health."
He also said he welcomes more Chinese tourists to visit Thailand.
Chinese Ambassador to Thailand Zhang Jianwei presented Anutin with an "Auspicious Horse" and said that the Spring Festival is a shared holiday for Chinese and Thai people, and is loved by all sectors of Thai society.
Thai Acting Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport Phiphat, Director of the Tourism Authority of Thailand Thapanee, and others also attended the event.
