(US 15th) A shooting incident occurred in Minnesota, USA, in which a man disguised as a police officer assassinated a Democratic state legislator and her husband. The governor described it as a "targeted political violence incident." Officials said the attacker also shot another Democratic legislator and his wife.
The deceased are former Minnesota House Speaker Melissa Hoffman and her husband Mark Hoffman; the injured are State Senator John Hoffman and his wife, who are gradually recovering after surgery.
