35-year-old Chinese actress Zhao Yingzi has been making headlines recently, earning the title of “Hype Queen.” After admitting to having changed her face in a recent livestream, she escalated things on the 26th by losing her temper and scolding her assistant live on air, with the entire process made public.
During the livestream, Zhao Yingzi slammed the table and lashed out at her assistant who was an hour late. The assistant explained that a friend had come to visit, but before she could finish two sentences, Zhao Yingzi angrily retorted: “You only said two sentences and I waited an hour for you!” She expressed her frustration that her work was delayed due to the assistant's tardiness, then turned to the camera and said: “Usually I don’t want to get angry, I feel like each time I get angry I lose 10 years of my life. I don’t want to get mad about this!” However, as she spoke she became increasingly agitated, further criticizing the assistant for not being present during work hours: “If your work isn’t up to par, isn’t that your problem?” She bluntly stated she spends a lot of money paying the assistant a salary, so the assistant should be responsible.
Zhao Yingzi gained recognition in 2013 with the TV drama 'Because Love is So Beautiful,' playing the role of Lin Duomei, but hasn’t had any major breakout works over the years. In 2022, she participated in 'Sisters Who Make Waves Season 3,' but her various bizarre behaviors drew a lot of criticism, making her “infamously popular.”
