This morning, water levels in Hat Yai, Thailand, receded, and local residents as well as tourists were gradually transferred by rescue teams to the Central Festival Hat Yai Mall, where they contacted their families to report their safety.
According to Penang Penang Hill Volunteer Firefighter Vice Chairman Cheong Chong Biao (Thursday), as the water level gradually subsides this morning, rescue teams set out early and have been rescuing those trapped in different locations.
