(Bandar Seri Begawan, 19th) In conjunction with His Majesty the Sultan's 80th birthday celebration, a full rehearsal for the Sultan's celebration together with the people of Tutong District was held this morning at the Tutong District Civic Hall Multi-purpose Stadium, to ensure that all preparations for the event are complete and to guarantee the smooth running of the official ceremony.
National Protocol Department Director and National Joint Advisor for the Sultan's 80th Birthday National Celebration Committee, Idris, was present on site to observe the full rehearsal.
Also present were the Minister of Social Policy & Manpower Coordination and Minister of Home Affairs, Amardin, as well as Minister of Health, Dato Ihsan Sen. Both also serve as National Co-Chairs of the Sultan's 80th Birthday National Celebration Committee.
In addition, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Acting Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Health, Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Development, acting district officers, and members of the Sultan's 80th Birthday Celebration Committee also attended the full rehearsal.
