(Kuching, 9th) The Malaysian Meteorological Department issued a continuous rainfall warning at 11:30 PM last night, upgrading the Bintulu and Miri areas to a severe level. This warning is effective until December 9, 2025.
The Meteorological Department stated that areas listed under the severe level include Bintulu (Bintulu and Sebauh) and Miri (Miri, Beluru, Subis, and Marudi).
"At the same time, the continuous rainfall warning (alert level) also applies to other areas, including Sibu (Sibu and Selangau), Mukah (Daro, Matu, Dalat, and Mukah), and Tatau in Bintulu, with the warning equally effective until the above-mentioned date," the Meteorological Department stated in a statement last night.
