MUKAH, July 28: Mukah has the highest Air Pollution Index (API) reading in Sarawak at 154 as of 10am.
According to the Air Pollutant Index Management System (APIMS), in contrast, Kapit recorded the lowest reading at 44.
Other areas in the State recorded moderate readings, with Samalaju at 78, followed by Kuching (76), Bintulu (75), ILP Miri (71), Miri (68), Limbang (65), Sarikei (66), Sibu (62), IPD Serian (58), Sri Aman (56), and Samarahan (56).
The public is advised to reduce outdoor activities, especially in areas with unhealthy APIs.
