(Miri, 28th) In conjunction with the 28th anniversary celebration of the Ziyang Association, the association’s legal advisor, Lim Sze Kien, recently handed over 10 sponsored gift baskets to be used for the lucky draw during the celebration, adding to the festive atmosphere of the event.
The Ziyang Association will grandly hold its 28th anniversary celebration on November 1st (Saturday) at Miri Golden Jubilee Restaurant. As the association’s legal advisor, Lawyer Lim Sze Kien upholds the spirit of “If consulted, must respond; if questioned, must answer,” and stated that he is happy to provide support and assistance to the association within his capacity.
He jokingly said, “Since I am an ‘advisor’, I should both ‘advise’ and also ‘ask’. I’m delighted to do my part for the Ziyang Association’s celebration and hope the event will go smoothly and successfully.”
The gift baskets were personally handed over by Lawyer Lim Sze Kien to Ziyang Association President Teng Zhan Hua, symbolizing his congratulations and support for the association.
Although the Ziyang Association is a small organization, it has achieved remarkable results in the research and promotion of folk culture. President Teng Zhan Hua not only excels in calligraphy and painting, but has also led members over the years to support local Chinese schools through charity sales of artworks, demonstrating the spirit of cultural figures giving back to society.
