US Ambassador Talks About Trump at Security Council: He is a Man of Action, Not Just Empty Talk

US Ambassador to the United Nations, Wulcz, pointed out at the UN Security Council on the 15th that the United States stands "together with the brave people of Iran," and that US President Trump "has made it clear that all options are on the table to stop this massacre."

Wulcz stated at the Security Council meeting convened at the request of the United States: "President Trump is a man of action, not like what we see at the United Nations, where there is nothing but endless empty talk. He has made it clear that all options are on the table to stop this massacre."

Wulcz refuted Iran's claim that the protests were a "foreign conspiracy paving the way for military action."

He said: "The whole world needs to know that this regime is weaker than ever, that's why it spreads these lies when facing the power exhibited by the Iranian people taking to the streets. They are afraid, they are afraid of their own people."

Iran's Deputy Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Dalchi, stated that Iran does not seek to escalate the situation or confrontations, and accused Wulcz of "resorting to lies, distorting facts, and deliberately spreading misinformation in order to cover up his country's direct intervention and acts that push the unrest in Iran toward violence."

China: Hope the US does more to contribute to peace and stability in the Middle East

Sun Lei, chargé d'affaires of the Chinese Permanent Mission to the United Nations, said at the meeting on the 15th that he hopes the United States will do more to contribute to peace and stability in the Middle East, rather than the opposite. He said that for some time, the United States has continued to make statements on the situation in Iran and has openly issued military threats against Iran, causing war clouds to loom over the Middle East and further escalating tensions.

Sun Lei stated that Iran is an independent sovereign country and that Iran's affairs should be independently decided by the Iranian people.
