(Sri Aman, 12th) A house on Jalan Century, Sri Aman, caught fire on Thursday night, resulting in 80% of the house being destroyed.
The Fire and Rescue Department stated that after receiving an emergency call at 10:49 PM, the team from Sri Aman Fire and Rescue Station was immediately dispatched to the scene.
The firefighters arrived three minutes later and found the entire wooden house engulfed in flames.
The residents successfully escaped in time, and no injuries were reported in the incident.
The firefighters used two hoses connected to a nearby hydrant and managed to control the fire by 11:01 PM, before carrying out clean-up operations to ensure there was no risk of reignition at the site.
