Brunei "Black Hawk" Helicopter Participates in Langkawi Aerospace Exhibition

(Brunei-Muara District, 22nd) At the 17th Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition 2025 (LIMA’25), the Brunei Royal Air Force (RBAirF) S-70i "Black Hawk" helicopter stood out among the world's cutting-edge aircraft, becoming a focal point, highlighting Brunei's growing influence in regional defense cooperation and aerospace technology.
The "Black Hawk" helicopter was showcased alongside aircraft from major military powers such as the United States, Russia, China, Germany, and India at the LIMA’25 static aircraft display zone.
The presence of the Black Hawk helicopter underscored Brunei's commitment to strengthening defense diplomacy and its determination to enhance air power through regional cooperation.
This exhibition is part of the biennial Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition, one of the largest defense and aerospace platforms in the Asia-Pacific region, attracting over 800 exhibitors from 30 countries, and was officially opened by Malaysian Prime Minister Dato' Seri Anwar.
Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Defense Pehin Dato Halbi led senior officials from the Ministry of Defense and Brunei Royal Armed Forces to attend.
Brunei's participation not only reflected its close bilateral relations with Malaysia but also demonstrated Brunei's firm pursuit of modernizing defense capabilities and promoting regional peace and security.
The theme of the airshow from May 20 to 24 was "Innovation Today, Prosperity Tomorrow," emphasizing that innovation is key to ensuring future security.
