(Bandar Seri Begawan, 28th) — The 'Crematorium Fund' promoted by the Brunei Chinese Charity Association has recently received support from several more enthusiastic individuals. Although some benevolent donors have emigrated abroad, they still care deeply for their homeland and have shown their concern for the development of local funeral services through practical action.
It is reported that the donors this time include caring individuals of Malay ancestry who have moved to Australia and other places. Among them, the families of Wong King Hing, Wong Kim Huat, Wong Ming Bee, Lim Hak Kuan, and Choy Siew Lee each donated 100 dollars to support the construction of the crematorium.
A representative of the Brunei Chinese Charity Association sincerely thanked the above donors for their kindness and pointed out that these funds will be used to improve local funeral facilities to serve the broader community. The association also welcomes all sectors to continue their generous contributions, working together to complete this meaningful public welfare project.
