Cambodian Defense Minister Tea Seiha led a delegation on the 4th to depart for Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to prepare for attending the Cambodia-Thailand Border Affairs Joint Committee (GBC) Special Meeting.
The GBC Special Meeting, which was originally scheduled to be held in Phnom Penh on the 4th, has, based on negotiations between Cambodia and Thailand, been changed to take place in Malaysia from August 4 to 7.
The preliminary sessions will be at the secretariat level, and the ministerial meeting will be held on the 7th. Both parties have agreed to invite Malaysia, the United States, and China to attend the meeting as observers.
