Teachers, Students, and Alumni Gather for Pui Min Charity Bazaar Raising 470,000

(Miri, 7th) Pui Min Secondary School Board Chairman, Hsu Wei Long, said that the Pui Min Secondary School Charity Bazaar is not only a fundraising event, but also a day filled with warmth and unity, bringing together the strength of teachers, students, parents, alumni, and the wider community.
He said the success of the bazaar depends on the generous support and enthusiastic backing from all sectors, allowing the school to continually grow and create a better learning environment for students.
"We sincerely thank all parents, alumni, supporters of Chinese education, and the entire faculty and student body for their contributions and support."
He made these remarks this morning when attending the 2025 'Bonding with Pui Min' Charity Bazaar organized at the school hall by Pui Min Secondary School in Miri.
 

Hsu Wei Long pointed out that the fundraising goal for this bazaar was 500,000 ringgit, and so far, the financial report shows that more than 470,000 ringgit has been raised — a commendable result. He believes that with the continued care from all sectors, Pui Min Secondary School will achieve its goal and create an even more complete learning environment for students.
He especially thanked the teachers for leading students to actively participate during the preparation and implementation of the bazaar, allowing students to develop team spirit, a sense of responsibility, and hands-on skills through the event. "This is not just a fundraising event, but also an educational lesson."
Hsu Wei Long emphasized that the mission of Pui Min Secondary School is to nurture more outstanding talents who can give back to and benefit society. He hopes that through such activities, not only can the school's infrastructure and learning resources be improved, but also students can imperceptibly learn about dedication and responsibility, becoming key contributors to society in the future.
